Shadow/light play (Technopolis)

Technopolis – the delightful hands-on museum in Mechelen dedicated to science and technology – opened a renovated hall in 2025: specifically for the youngest children, completely filled with beautifully designed scientific experiments. A fantastic 'play, discover, and learn hall'.

One of those installations is about light and shadow. Technopolis sought a 'narrative' through sculptures. Children can illuminate them, change their color, move them, create other stories with them... I was asked to create these storytelling sculptures. I did so, using recycled wood.
